It is now The Lady In the Bath. The new owners are very different but very good. English modern style.

What a find! Tucked away near the exit/entrance of the AP 7 motorway at Calahonda. Originally we stopped off for a freshly squeezed orange juice and met the owner Carlos. He was so warm and friendly and speaks perfect english. We returned the following Friday to enjoy their beautifully cooked fresh fish of the day accompanied with delicious sautéed potatoes and vegetables. It has become our regular restaurant while we are here for the winter. Free Wi Fi , plus free parking opposite.

We always visit when we visit the area, the breakfast is excellent value, the service is impeccable Juan Carlos is lovely : I would recommend for a meal or just to pop in for a drink, you are always made to feel welcome.

We enjoyed a lovely English breakfast cooked beautifully. At the end of our breakfast, for the following evening, hubby asked if he could watch the football. When we arrived they had moved the tv outside and reserved us a table. Nothing was too much trouble. Food v. good especially the burgers and chips. Some food homemade.

Juan Carlos who used to run Miraflores Golf has now opened an excellent restaurant at the top of Riviera Del Sol near the Motorway exit. We had a starter, the entrecôte with mushrooms and cream brûlée, with bottle of wine for under 30 Euros. Also great place for late night coffee or drink.
