Bidra med feedbackCasa Elefante is an authentic Indian restaurant with fabulous food, and warm, friendly service. We had Lamb Vindaloo, Chicken Jalfrezi, Sargan ka Saag, Naan and Roti. Wow! Super authentic, great flavors and flawless service. This is a family run business, and they execute with great...pride and everything was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend it!
Incredible dishes all around, Atik Hossin was a wonderful host and very helpful with recommendations. Must try
Very friendly. I felt that we were appreciated not only as customers but as friends. We were greeted at the door and sitting fast. I changed my drink order (not only alcoholic beverages) and the application was immediately fulfilled. To order the waiter, time needed to explain options regarding size, worts and so on; Information so invaluable. The food was delicious and carefully prepared; that is a unique restaurant and worthy of the patronage. The waiter was present and not intrusive and available if necessary. I'd come back at any time if I was in the CDMX.
I originate from the Indian subcontinent, so I know my curries. This place was top of the Indian restaurants on Tripadvisor in Mexico City. Decision to go there was rewarded with delicious food. We had chicken tandoori for starters and beef jalfrezi for main meal....Amazing. The sweet lassi and mango lassi was also outstanding. Well worth seeking out in CDMX.
I being an Indian wanted my Mexican friend to eat authentic Indian food. So after searching on TripAdvisor we selected Casa Elefante. We ordered tandoori chicken tikka and butter naan. In 2minutes food was served and I was shocked to get tandoori tikka in sizzling...platter fried in oil. Only the red colour resembled the tandoori tikka. When I asked the staff what is this. I was told it was tandoori tikka. And in Mexico tandoori chicken tikka is served this way. I would like to request the owner at least to serve food as per the name. Tandoori chicken without using a tandoor is like pizza being made in frying pan of oil.
