Lupita's Valley - Midway

Normally Mexican food is pretty much the same everywhere you go. BUT not here. Way overpriced for mostly okay food, some just awful. The price of the food for the quality makes this not the place to come to. Skip it and go somewhere else….anywhere else.

I normally love the food here because they get it from the local cheese store which is what absolutely makes their food worth how good and expensive it is. I went for my birthday now for a couple years. First year we went with all our friends and they didnt divide our checks so my husband ended up forking out $350 bucks for our group. We were really annoyed! Then this year they forgot to put cheese on my smothered burrito and when I mentioned it said they could give me a discount or re make it. I figured Id just take a discount since its really expensive. Got the bill and they only took 1.00 off. It made the burrito go from amazing to not very good just because of the cheese. So, tasty food but overpriced, and service is not amazing in my opinion.

We were told we had a 45 minute wait..it was well over an hour then we got seated, ordered right away because we were already looking at the menu while we waited and then we waited roughly an hour for food!! Worst experience ever!!! We had ice castle tickets and had to leave so we had them box up the food but that seemed to bug them because they were “already plated” I doubt that. They took one meal off to “compensate” and brought out nachos that we below the bar and covered in black beans only. We were not the only ones to get upset, a party of about 8 people just walked out cause they couldn’t get any service and the food was nothing to be waiting for!! They got our orders completely wrong and we ended up just ordering a pizza in Heber. Definitely don’t recommend!!!

We went to Lupitas and had a wonderful time! From greet, to table service, to food quality and taste everything exceeded our expectations!! We all enjoyed the house margarita which was fantastic! We wish we lived here because we'd definitely be back. Go visit Lupitas!
