Bidra med feedbackI had my second visit here (since 2010 with a group of work friends. this time I had the frying beef, with mixed vegetables and potatoes. it was pretty good. the engraving was a bit on the thick side, but the brat was quite tender and had good taste. the maic were really good the icy was very good, and the service was ok. my neck was about $10. good stuff.
Eat quite standard diner so we were happy! only the complaining is that they have extremely bland hash-browns. they have excellent speck.
I grew up with this place, so I guess I am biased, but give midvale mining co. a try! portions are a bit big, but for an breakfast with friends who like to eat classic American comfort, they cannot go wrong. I recommend the south of the border with roasted hash browns to the breakfast, it is a knockout!
From the city dwellers, skip! I like to try local places when I'm on my way instead of getting chains at home. I ordered a western omelette, better known as a Denver omelet. it came generic power singles on the top as the cheese it was so wye and runny inside I couldn't get it down and I expect the half of food poisoning later tonight. the toast was both rocky and mushy. Big portions. It's like homecoming x 2, their portions are so huge that you can eat your left overs as another meal. I like their prime rib Fridays and my son likes the Long Bean (French dip). It's always busy and their parking lot is always full, that tells you something. They have a big menu so I'm sure you will find something you like.
