Simpli Sushi - Midtown UNLV

Every now and then, I NEED to satisfy my sushi craving. Lately, since going to so many AYCE sushi places, I wanted something different- greater quality. So I searched on yelp and found an abundance of omakase sushi restaurants. Although they were all very appealing, something about Simple Sushi really stood out to me. From past experiences, pop-up sushi spots have never left me disappointed. Seeing that this is a small family owned biz, I wanted to give them a try. I placed an order couple days in advance for a variety of nigiris for pick-up on Saturday. I arrived at the pick-up location a little bit early, called them, and a nice gentlemen brought out my order. He was nice enough to tell me that they added a a couple extra pieces as a token of their appreciation. My order came in a small pizza box, with a beautiful presentation once I opened the box! Peep the pic. Everything was delicious- including the uni (my favorite)! And the pieces were huge! You can clearly tell that the chef makes each piece of love and care. All of that food for $35! I pleasantly surprised by their service, food quality, and just everything in between. Thank you, Simple Sushi!

Bro bro needs to open up his own sushi restaurant aside from his successful catering business! I love the fact that this business caters to private events and even servicing platters big enough for family parties, office meetings, or group gatherings. Just want a small individual order to go? They even customize bento boxes of your preference! They can do single orders of anything they have on their website. You can go from nigiri to sashimi, or onigiri to hand rolls. I believe everything is a fair price for what you get when it comes to fresh ingredients and real crab, instead of imitation. The sushi displaying and packaging is really cute and professionally tasteful. They always include condiments with your sushi like your typical soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled radish/ginger. Packaging looks like a pizza box on the outside but more so bento on the inside. Very innovative now a days. I love that they have a 3rd party delivery system on their website but it would also be nice if they had others such as ubereats or door das as an option. Personally I think that could help with accessibility as well. Because this is a catering business, they 're only open Fridays and Saturdays to the public starting at 11:30am. The food is fantastic and my friends are now hooked on it. So easy and convenient since it 's down the street from where I work.

Excellent quality food. Ordered delivery and I was very impressed in how they pack the food. Everything has a seal on it, even the paper bag. Absolutely no tampering when you order delivery. Presentation also gets high marks, I can see that they take pride in their food. Will definitely order from them again
