El Malecon - Midland

This place is by far the worst food I've had. I like spicy but this was over the top ridiculously spicy. I would not recommend this place as a good seafood spot! My bro in law had a camaron plat an shrimps were over cooked. Neither of us finished ourfood. 0 Star food

It was Delicious! Shrimp was fresh and good quality food with great size plate. Would definitely recommend. My wife had tacos a la diabla and I had shrimp cocktail. Would recommend both!

When to malecon I try the malecon molcajete it was really good it had shrimp, octopus, sea clamp, and other seafood and I also got a michelada made with 2xs very good

I don't know what's going on with el malecón. When they first opened, I thought their food was awesome. Their salsa and chips to get started was so good. Now it's watery tomato sauce, like all the other restaurants. I've ordered at least half of theirmenu at one time or another and it's not the same. It's not as good as it used to be. Like they changed cooks. I've gone back acouple more times hoping I'm just tripping and it's gonna be good again. But each time I'm more disappointed. Oh and don't takeyour kids. The bar is open to the dining area for families and they were super loud, drunk and cursing ????. Sorry. Not sorry.

Horrible!!! Food was flavorless, couldn't find any beans in my charro beans. Had to send my beer back cause the mug was dirty, to get another dirty mug. We just left that mess!!! $50 wasted
