Wayside Inn Larrick's Tavern

Had a party of 12 for St. Patrick's day celebration. The reservations were made a month in advance and I had a confirmation of the reservations but the restaurant bungled that! We should have left then! This place was Ill prepared to serve people. The food was horrible, The presentation was horrible! The waiter was trying his best but was overwhelmed and no one would help him. We did not get what we ordered in a timely manner. We were there 3.5 hours! I will not go back to this place! The bar tender was complaining about our party going to the bar for drinks. Just an absolute horrible experience!

Very historic and interesting inn. Some staff very pleasant. Food, in my estimation, pretty horrible Food. Some interaction with staff, 4. With other waitstaff people 2. Took forever to get service. Appetizer, a Brie pastry Came cold If there was ANY brie in or on it, it had to be applied with a small pointed brush. Main course also cold. Brussels sprouts seemed boiled to mush. Don 't even know what to call other side. Dessert, bread pudding, cold and hard as a stone. In addition, if there is a special event, be careful. The one I attended last night was advertised to be 2 hours. The speaker, not very engaging, ended it within 1 hour and 10 minutes....

This was a great place. They had live music with an acoustic guitarist which was nice, the food was excellent. I had the fillet which was incredibly tender and had a great flavor. The staff was super friendly and everyone was welcoming. This place has a ton of history and the owner was happy to show us around and tell us all the fascinating stories. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend stopping here. You can even stay the night in one of the 22 hotel rooms on site. It's beautiful.

This is my second time within the past couple of months of coming for a night and enjoying the atmosphere of the tavern! Great little in. That has lots of history and is a fantastic place to come just to unwind for a bit. The food at the tavern is phenomenal! You won't be disappointed.

Had an excellent experience. The menu is small but everything was prepared perfectly. The wait staff was also friendly, personable and professional. I am surprised there were not more people here on a Saturday. It is worth a look.
