The Gastro Beach Pub - Middletown

I’ve stood at this hotel for so many years and finally just tried this … wow !!! I wish I would’ve tried sooner! The peach jalapeño chicken is to die to! The bistro burger was cooked to perfection! Fish and chips were crispy and fresh! Such a great atmosphere!So underrated because it always looks dead but so worth it!!!

For a Gastro Pub everything was amazing. The fish from the Fish And Chips was lightly battered and perfectly fried. Gastro Burger was cooked perfectly to my liking. The Peach Jalapeño Chicken Tenders were sweet with a nice kick. All and all 2 thumbs up.!

Driving by this morning with my wife on the way to breakfast out of town , I said , Gastro Beach has the best breakfast around. We both said, why drive any further, let's go.We both ordered The Eggs Bennie w ham ,which was delicious but the home made hash browns superb!The ambiance , overlooking the Ocean from a bar seat is beautiful and Brian runs a get operation with friendly ,experienced staff. We always remark when we leave, we need to come here more often always has good food a good thing for a restaurant.Locals, don't forget this hidden gem while we still can get in without a line.Brian M Middletown

What a great find. My wife and I both had grilled salmon and it was very good. Definitely would definitely recommend it to others.

We stayed at the hotel and went to the restaurant several times. The food and service were terrific. They accommodated my food allergies. The restaurant is directly across the street from the ocean too. We would definitely return.
