The Colonial Diner - Middletown

I ordered two burgers med rare, and they came well done. The owner took $5 from my $50 bill, although we didn't eat it. When I asked them why only $5, she says, the chefs are mexican in the back, and they like meat well made there, I can't observe everything, mistakes happen... completely rude and unnamed for. I don't know what the customer service is. She must take notes from her waitress.

A little more than I was hoping to spend a panini, $11.75, but there was a lot on the sandwich with great taste.

Great food and the best service. Very well maintained. We're going.

A light fire on a 5-hour drive home after a flight cancellation. They sat immediately and ordered a crispy golden waffle with a just few eggs over medium. The coffee was hot and good, took one with me for the rest of the ride! Overall a great role for this tired traveller. Will stop on another trip.

I had a fantastic rate of open face roast beef with gravy and mashed potatoes. Excellent! My waitress couldn?t have been more attentive or nicer.
