Chicken Palace - Middlesex

This is probably the closest you can get to the true Peruvian cuisine flavor in NJ. Try their seafood you will not regret it.

I live with a Peruvian and know good food. This food is excellent. The rotisserie chicken is flavorful and well portioned, the leche de tigre is fresh and delicious and the chifa is fantastic. Everything is very delicious. The staff was very very nice to me when I picked it up. The restaurant was packed and everyone looked happy. Don’t listen to the bad reviewers. The staff were nice and the food was extremely delicious and I know good Peruvian food.

I decided to order this for lunch today at work looking forward to a peruvian meal. Unfortunately when I went to pick it up it was a nightmare. To start by the service is horrible, when you get there they don't even acknowledge you, the food is not even ready, I only gave this one star so I can write this review because if I could put zero I would. This place is not even called chicken Palace it's called Leña Y Carbón. I would not recommend this to anyone I encounter someone who was actually there and they've been waiting for their order for 50 minutes.. on that note I just decided to leave and cancel my order, plus they made me late to work and told me that my food would be ready in 30 minutes when i had called I got there 30 minutes later no f food ready.No one is wearing a mask and gloves they go in and out of rooms and handle money with the food trays open. If you want good service go to Al Toque! Horrible place, save your money and don't go there!

Good food, but some of the management staff is not wearing masks during the pandemic while they are handling people's food. Probably wouldnt go back until covid is over.

Food is pretty good. Not as consistently good each time but good option for Peruvian food in this Middlesex/Bound Brook/Dunellen area. They always under estimate in how long food will be ready. Add an additional 15-20 minutes to the the expected time they suggest food will be ready by. On the weekends they offer desserts which have been pretty delicious.
