Don’t waste your time, over price, poorly cooked and shop itself is dirty. $56 for oily overcooked fish. Couldn’t tell the difference between battered fish and crumbed fished it all somehow looked the same, burnt dried out and oily. The “kiwi” dog again in burnt patchy batter won’t even say it covered as half the batter wasn’t even on the sausage. Chips didn’t have any salt despite asking for it and again oily and somehow overcooked. Ordered at 4.15 online for 4.45 arrived bang on time and they hadn’t even started cooking had to watch three orders be cooked and served before mine ended up getting started it 25 later than the estimated time. The shop itself was dirty, the guy had no gloves watched him handle everything. Ended up throwing 90% of it in the bin and eating something else.
Way overpriced for “local produce”. The fish cake was mass produced rubbish, very tasteless. The fish and chips were way too oily. One piece of crumbed fish, one fish cake and minimum chips was just under $19.00. Surcharge for crumbed fish. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
Just got my fish and chips was ok but I asked the guy to undercook the oysters and mussels obviously he didn’t listen and they were like rubber the fish and chips were average Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$60–80
It was shaping up to be a yummy lunch until we got the big piece of fish with a big strip of skin? Or muscle? through it like a rubber band. It was inedible despite trying. We took it to the counter and showed them and the man behind the counter offered to cook another one for us and then the woman emerged from the kitchen rudely telling us that ‘everyone loves their shark EXCEPT YOU’ at which point we decided to leave. Won’t be back there. Be careful what you order. I guess we were just unlucky. The principle that the customer is always right doesn’t operate here.
