Tried Takumi Ramen, one of the most renowned ramen chains in the Netherlands, located in the bustling Markthal, a prime spot near Blaak station in Rotterdam. I opted for the Black Garlic Kara Ebi Miso Ramen, a distinctive dish featuring black garlic, fried chicken, a shrimp skewer, cabbage, bamboo shoots, and spring onions. The black broth added a unique twist, making it a memorable and flavorful experience. We also enjoyed the Teriyaki Curry, a delightful Japanese curry rice with teriyaki chicken, wakame salad, and a side soup. It was equally impressive, offering a well-balanced taste. As a side dish, we had the Karage, which was also quite satisfying. While it may not be the most highly anticipated ramen place, Takumi Ramen still delivers a very good dining experience. We chose to sit outside to enjoy the sunshine, but the restaurant is also known for its vibrant and inviting interior design. Highly recommended for ramen enthusiasts visiting Rotterdam.
