Kring Chokolade - Middelfart

Do not go past. Great cakes and homemade chocolates. As a tapas menu with quality coffee. A cozy taste in the middle of the pedestrian street.

Kring chocolate started in 2004 by pastry chef Rikke Kring Jensen. From producing small handmade dessert chocolates, they have evolved to also make ice cream and celebration cakes. Chef Rikke presented us with choice of coffee, tea chocolate brownies and of course her famous baked pie voted Denmark's best in 2012. She proceeded to give us a lesson on chocolate and it's variations and how to us it in making candy, which we did. We had a lot of fun doing this and left her shop with the fruit of our experience there.

We were walking around Middelfart looking at the town and waiting for our concert to start. We were not hungry but we wanted to sit down and have a nice cup of coffee. We came to Kring just before closing and enjoyed a wonderful cup of coffee (in (Kring's own mugs) a nice bit of chocolate and a nice chat with the woman working there. It added to our good impression on Middelfart. . . . even on a cold winter night.

Ordered 2 x eat what you can tapas cake and filled chocolates. Really delicious cakes and chocolates. Can be fully recommended and we come again another time

Super delicious Cafe with homemade products of very high quality. Good Panini delicious chocolates and good coffee.
