Upcountry - Mid Sussex

Dropped in for coffees, a caesar wrap and sausage roll. All cooked beautifully and the best Lattes I have had in a very long time. Lovely friendly staff.

Very pleasant with polite and helpful staff. Sells fresh vegetables and there is plenty of plants and shrubs to purchase.

Rather mixed experience. My husband’s ‘full English’ was well cooked and enjoyable. My ‘banana pancakes’ were very disappointing . They were from a packet rather than freshly cooked, and were very much less than fresh anyway. Nicely served, with fresh banana and maple syrup, but stale nevertheless, The coffee was hot and of decent quality.

Excellent food lovely service (especially from a friendly young man “seb” very chatty and charming would return again very much enjoyed the pancakes :

First visit here and sadly it will be my last. No menus visible on arrival, so had to ask. Not a big choice on the menu, so you would think they would have all the ingredients, sadly not. No bubble and squeak. The food was bearable. Burnt mushroom. There was a dog going in and out of the kitchen not hygienic. Staff were ok. Really disappointing as it could be lovely.
