Smoque Burger - Mid Sussex

Food wasn’t what I ordered they put pickles and onion which I’m allergic to in my burger after ordered without so had to wipe it off my food so it was cold when I got around to eating it , they wouldn’t sort it out and then the patty was bone dry will not be buying food from here again McDonald’s cheese burger is better

Food arrived 40 minutes late and cold the burger buns were soggy the lettuce was limp and watery . The worse takeaway I have every had and on calling them was meant with uninterested and rude staff. Disgusting food will never use this takeaway again .

Collected so no issues with slow delivery as mentioned in other reviews. Burgers are made to order so probably a 20 min wait on a busy Saturday evening. First visit so we had the Meal Deal with a Tower (chicken and a Mexican (hot! . Chips, onion rings and drinks included. Great sauces, great value, especially with discount (they do student and NHS . Oh, and the burgers were delicious. Still hot after a 5 mile drive which is unusual. Delivery would have been 2.99 so I guess we 'll be ordering very soon but allowing them time to cook them from scratch! And the staff? So friendly! The owner/manager engaged with me while I was waiting, I was addressed by name when it was ready and I was spoken to throughout my wait, being told about other items on the menu, the loyalty card, the app etc etc. To summarise, if you want fast food, go to Mcdonald 's, if you want fresh, tasty burgers made from scratch in front of you by friendly staff then Smoque is your destination of choice.

I ordered at 4:06 it finally arrived at 5:48! No communication from the shop when I finally found contact details. Phone wasn’t answered email not responded to. Food clearly had been sitting ages as chip soggy and tepid. Burger had good flavour but was also barely warm. This was meant to be a rest weekend treat cost £16+ and was disappointing to say the least. As a rule I don’t give reviews but felt obligated to do so tonight as over an hour and a half is not acceptable when the product is less than expected.

Smoques has the best burgers in town and delicious chips, even without any added flavor. However, I would not recommend ordering delivery after 7pm on a Friday or Saturday as the food is consistently late and cold. It is best to pick up your order or skip it altogether, as they tend to forget items when busy. Unfortunately, when we have brought up missing items, there has been no apology, refund, or discount offered. This lack of care from the staff has led us to stop ordering from them, despite being regular customers. Attempts to contact management have gone unanswered. Additionally, customizing your burger comes at a higher price, but often results in burnt buns, missing toppings, and no attention to detail. Although the food is delicious, the disappointing service and lack of care make it hard to continue supporting Smoques.
