Bidra med feedbackLoved this place! We came for breakfast and it was so good (fetalicious and the turkish eggs! That we had to come back for dinner and again for cocktails. A sunny terrace for mornings and coffee and a cool vibe area downstairs for food and bar. Staff were so welcoming and really added to our visit
18th July was a moving day for me and I had no food in , do decided to go into town to get a sandwich to take away. I 've not eaten at CJs since it became the Goat Kitchen but remember I always had had good food there. There was a new menu so I sat down to have a look and fancied a Club sandwich. Which I ordered. It took an inordinate amount of time to prepare, especially considering the place was not at all busy, just a few people. I took the sandwich home and when I opened the box I was immediately disappointed. There was this warm, soggy excuse for a Club sandwich, tasteless chicken, fatty bacon and bore no resemblance to a club sandwich. One bite and went in the bin. £9.50!.?... you have got to.be kidding. It wasn 't worth 95p. I will not be returning
Excellent food and service you can order via the app or the bar. I had the breakfast which is very good quality, the only issue after several visits are that the mushroom although very tasty are always cold on receipt. I would suggest you plate them last this may solve the problem
Disappointed as we used to like it when the previous owners owned it. Today the food was OK but not great. Please listen to a customer request. The music used to be 70s rock, now very odd singing. The very best thing was when one of the staff started playing the piano. More live playing please. The place needs cleaning ..... seriously it's really dusty (to say the least). The staff seem very nice though so maybe it will pick up again.
Popped in for a bottle of Prosecco with friends. Glad we only had the one as we were charged £36. Ridiculous price as average for East Grinstead is £26/28.
