Taverna Tonelli - Michigan City

Fantastic food (I had the risotto which was the best I’ve had since Italy 2015), excellent drinks, and great service. Vanessa really helped us have a great meal. I recommend to everyone going through the area.

First off Todd is the best server I have EVER had. He knew the entire menu and gave amazing recommendations and tended to not only our table but all his other tables outstandingly. That alone deserves 5 stars. On top of the amazing service the food was delicious. Home made pasta and the seafood was so fresh! I am so impressed. we will defiantly be back! If I could give this restaurant 1,000 stars I would!

The salmon was awesome! Loved the 1st wine on the wine list. Not sure what it was called. A hidden gem of Michigan City! This place is absolutely gorgeous! Will definitely be back!

What a gem in Michigan City. The eggplant parm is so fresh you would swear they just picked the vegetables. The bread is fresh--moist in the inside w a perfectly crispy, crunchy crust. Paired with Gewürztraminer, one of the best meals you'll get in Michigan City! Service is top notch too.

The lobster rissoto and chicken picca were delicious! But I could enjoy a handmade cocktail and the bread and oil in the bar in the future for a treat as well. Nice to have a more quality restaurant in Michigan City! I highly recommend it.
