Michael's Genuine Food Drink Miami

Food was good, but the waiting staff was inattentive

Michael's Genuine has been a visit to Miami for years. Our last visit led to a bad service experience and honestly we did not think we would return. We did and although the food was great, the service was terrible. We often have large fine restaurants and service was always important. Our reservation was 8 and we were not placed until 20:40. If drinks do not appear for a long time, water will not be filled and your waiter spend most of his time with colleagues you know your in trouble. After waiting for 45 minutes between appetizers and our main course, we finally complained to the waiter who told us that WE took too long to order and our decisions (two very expensive items) took much longer. Then he had someone else who took care of our table. Too bad food and good service cannot go hand in hand with Micheals Genuine we will not be back.

The restaurant always has great energy and a fun crow. It's a shame our waitress came expressed little to know genuine interest in our experience. It put a damper on what otherwise would have been a wonderful lunch.

Lovely outdoor setting. Quiet and well-spaced enough for conversation. Excellent food

Patrons bringing dogs to the restaurant is too much! Some are huge, restless and take away from the dining experience….Pets are family but they have a place at home and in parks but not around food, please.
