Captain's Tavern - Miami

My nephew and I paid $138.00 to spend two days in the bathroom throwing up. When I called to explain what happened CP told me to go see my Dr. No apology or compensation.

So far one of my favorite restaurants in town. Great service either at the bar and at the restaurant area. The food was outstanding and we love the atmosphere. The only bad experience was that the waiter didn't bring my side dish, but after I had already finished having the main course...he he he... But it makes sense that he forgot about my fries, because the restaurant was extremely busy that Saturday evening. Anyway we enjoyed those French fries at the last minute as an extra snack to close the meal.

Captain's Tavern has been a favorite of mine since I was a little girl. Now turning 22 tomorrow I’m headed there for another birthday dinner. I love the atmosphere and the food is great. You are definitely getting your moneys worth.

Personally, it’s my favorite restaurant but I offer these tips. Go there on the weekdays as the weekends can get too packed so service is limited. Order wine they got a great selection. Rustic environment, great fresh seafood and service that is worth a great tip. My favorite is the conch chowder they serve with brandy and the bread pudding desert. Try it you won’t be disappointed.
