Yuca - Miami Beach

Service was pretty slow...took a long time for a simple appetizer and also the requested cappuccino at the end of the meal...20 minutes?

We had a reservation so we were seated immediately, but the restaurant wasn’t full anyway. Despite that, we waited 1 hour for our food. They brought us mariquitas while we waited. Then, my plate arrived and it didn’t seem right so I asked the waiter to confirm it wasn’t shrimp because I’m allergic. The waiter assured me it wasn’t shrimp, walked away and returned confirming same. I again begged him to be sure because of my allergy. He reaffirmed, so I took one bite and knew it was shrimp. The rest is private but needless to say, not good. The lack of care and service were appalling. Awful experience.

The food was not quality extremely overpriced service was good but I would not recommend it to anyone. You can have better food at a better price in a lot of other places

Food was good as per usual. We enjoyed the fried yuca, guacamole, mahi mahi, and lovely cocktails. Service is very hit-or-miss here. Previous experiences were fine. On this day, service was inattentive, slow in bringing requested food and drinks, and kept missing the mark on providing needed utensils (e.g., teaspoon instead of a serving spoon; one set of utensils instead of two... . Would give this place another chance as good is very good. Service needs improvement, though.

Excellent service and delicious food on Lincoln Road!! Location was perfect for activities nearby and the Yuca has Gluten Free options that were delicious, even for my non-GF friends. The GF Paella was very tasty and fresh, while the salmon and quinoa were perfect. I'm very sensitive and had no reaction to my meal.
