Smith Wollensky - Miami Beach

This place was a disgrace. We were giving a bread basket without plates, I ordered a rare prime rib and I got a piece of meat from the fridge with gravy on it. This meat had not touched the grill, there is a difference between rare and not cooked at all. They took it off the bill but big deal I had to go an get something to eat elsewhere.

I expected much more from this place. We waited an hour after our reservation to be seated. I felt like I had to tip the host. Waiter was unprofessional and rude. Food was just so so. Would not go back.

Went here the other day with friends for the Miami Spice Restaurant Month. Special menu for lunch $20.06 which includes several choices. I chose the filet and bumped it up a little and got Filet Oscar (crab meat and asparagus). Also ordered a side of cream spinach (not included but serves at least two or more). The food was excellent and the service impeccable. The amount of food served was enough to fill you. Miami Spice month give us peons a chance to eat at places we otherwise probable could not afford. However, this would be a place worth saving for. Sits right by the water with lots of glass windows for viewing. This was just a joy to go to.

It’s situated at the southern point of the beach. Restaurant is big inside, but we came here for outdoor seating along the water. Had to wait for 15 mins (had an booking), which was not too much of a trouble. People there were very helpful andcaring. We took few appetisers and drinks. Everything was yummy and the views were even better. A cruise ship past by, that wasadded fun!

The day before yesterday we celebrated our marriage in this restaurant. We had a wonderful lunch with close friends. A restaurant with a beautiful view of the water and excellent food and service. I really like the elegant settings. It was a veryimportant day for us and I was glad to celebrate it in this place. Me and my husband left with pleasant and lovely memories ofthis day and place. It was such a wonderful experience and definitely will come back sometime soon. Highly recommend it if youwant to have a great time and outstanding food with a beautiful view then you are on the right place.????
