Eating was okay, but not what I expected. I ordered the lobster that was overcooked by our waiter and misdescribed. my colleague had the short Rib-Bukini he did not finish. disappointed

Eating was great, bit the server a bit over the tip. the prices are far too high, although usd 35 for a glass of quite good, but not big red wine is simply too much.

Our server william was very attentive. once again it was a great experience, despite some food preparations have changed. loved the polnta w mushrooms and the new pannocotta recipe

Server recommended that we order apps for the table and split them but that was a terrible idea the apps were not easily split, there was no room on the table, and they did not coming with serving utensils

We've been to Scarpetta's many many times with my family here and in Montauk NY. The waiter here was horrible. We were celebrating my birthday. He had an attitude from the moment we sat down, refusing to give the specials until he was satisfied everybody was listening. He didn't write down the order and missed 1 meal. Although he brought 2 different sauces for the pasta appetizer, he refused to bring both sauces with our order unless we paid extra on top of a $600+ meal! He was rude and made our guest very uncomfortable and spoiled our celebration. I guess he didn't care since they add a 20% service charge/tip regardless of the service. A restaurant like Scarpetta shouldn't tolerate a waiter who chased a long time customer away.
