Boteco Copa Cabana - Miami Beach

Eating was good and ambiente was funny, but somehow we felt transformed into a tourist trap. service was great when we first checked in and they were helpful to go through the menu, but it was impossible to get a server later in the evening. also, do not appreciate that they try to add us to the 20% of the congratulate before our bill (we were not a big party.) I wanted it because we generally had a nice time, but as the person who chose the restaurant, I would have done more research on miami beach eating.

Bad experience, I don't recommend it. individual dishes $30, bad eating. achter platz, only a waitress present. 20% above the bill service tax tip. terrible!

I came here for an Easter dinner. I loved to cute outdoor seating where I can sit, enjoy a nice meal, and people watch all evening. I had a dish that had a white fish and shrimp, with peppers in a mild coconut milk sauce with a side of white rice. Yummy!! And for dessert, was a passion fruit mousse. Outstanding! It really had a true passion fruit flavor. My server was a lovely gentleman who made all the recommendations for me, and hit the nail on the head every time. Great food, great service, great ambiance!

We ordered the calamari and it was not good. Service was ok. The only good thing was they did have $5 glasses of wine and margaritas but you get what you pay for. We were only here for a round of drinks and left after being disappointed by the taste of cheap drinks and overpriced poorly cooked calamari. Don 't waste your time or money here for $5 drinks.

Very nice restaurant on South Beach. Great outside dining where you can sit and people watch. Very efficient and attentive staff. The food was very good with large portions. We dined here to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful experience.
