Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant provides the type of dining experience you would expect from a Michelin two-star chef. Danny Grant and his team offer a menu that is both diverse and tantalizing, featuring unexpected techniques and aromas. My husband and I dined there last night and were truly impressed. I decided to try the Miami Spice menu, and unlike some restaurants that skimp on quality for these special menus, 1826 did not disappoint. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable about both the cuisine and wine offerings. We did not visit the lounge as it is only open on Friday and Saturday nights, but our waiter assured us it is a great experience. I hope Miami can recognize and appreciate this standout restaurant, as it has quickly become one of my favorites.
I believe this charming restaurant will be a long-standing favorite. Situated in the heart of South Beach, it not only boasts a beautiful ambiance but also serves amazing food. I had the opportunity to attend a happy hour they hosted for residents of my building, allowing me to sample a variety of menu items. The cucumber gazpacho with almond, dill, and gin snow was incredibly refreshing on a hot Miami day. The black truffle risotto was indescribable - salty, creamy, simply divine. The beef tartare cornets were a fun twist on a classic dish, presented in mini ice cream cones filled with delicious beef tartare. The grilled short rib melted in my mouth, and for dessert, the passion fruit semifreddo and strawberry shortcake were both light and flavorful, a perfect conclusion to a wonderful meal. I enjoyed their Sauvignon Blanc, although I can't remember the brand - it was likely their house wine, which was excellent. The restaurant has three floors - the first floor is the dining area, the second floor is a lounge/bar where you can relax and enjoy food and drinks, and on weekends, it turns into a dance floor. The third floor is a VIP lounge, which I didn't see but can imagine is as beautifully decorated as the rest. I will definitely be returning to this fantastic restaurant.
We decided to visit this restaurant based on its website and reviews, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The service was extremely poor, with a woman seating us without saying a word and failing to provide any kind of greeting or explanation of the menu. We tried four dishes, and while the duck was decent, the cucumber soup was too salty to eat and the pasta was overcooked and lacking ingredients. The service was slow and inattentive, and it seems like the restaurant is more focused on appearances than the quality of the food and service. Overall, we believe that the reviews for this restaurant are likely fake.
Unfooled! Started on the 3rd floor for Happy Hour, was treated with free champagne and enjoyed delicious cocktails made by their very vulnerable and well-trained bartenders! Great appetizer of Croquettes filled with a Chive cream and Prosciutto. Then dinner came! So romantic and intimate! Very nice dining room, but very elegant and cool at the same time! We sat at the window overlooking Collins Ave and Miami Art Deco building. Pasta The image does not do justice to the best cooked pasta with a rich sauce that bursts with onion and beef. We literally ate every bite of pasta and sauce. DUCK This was new in the menu for the night and it was not disappointed! A trio of roasted and fried duck skin, melt in the mouth, earthy and juicy goodness. One of my favorite red meat! SWITZERLAND My personal favorite of the night! The cut swordfish was the fillet mignon of seafood. Filled with peas tomatoes and a very generous part!
A true jewel in South Beach with modern decor and exquisite cuisine. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. The food sections are exactly the right European style. I recommend the Miami Beach restaurant locals and tourists who want high-quality cuisine and spend a relaxing time over the crazy beach crowds. The restaurant is on the second floor and on the third floor there is a bar area with hip music for the happy hour or late night. Great place!
