Starbucks Reserve - Metro Manila

Went here earlier for a quick Dark Mocha Frappe fix before heading out to a busy afternoon. I'm not a coffee connoisseur (I always have anything mocha because I like the sweet chocolate-y type) so I didn't know what difference Starbucks 'Reserve' had compared to the usual. I've learned that they have a wider selection of coffee here. Something for the caffeine junkies! I am a matcha lover. I got really dizzy when I saw the green tea and strawberry blossom frapuccino (is it me or the name is too damn long?). Anyway, this is a disappointment for green tea lovers as I don't taste any green tea - not even a bit of it. The strawberry is prominent, it overpowers green tea. A change of the name of the drink is in the order - strawberry blossom maybe?

Tried the Rwanda Abakundakawa yesterday. It is low in body and high in acidity. As one of the earlier Starbucks reservations, the entry into the coffee phase of the 3rd wave was initiated. So you have 4 reserve coffees to choose from, in addition to the usual Starbucks coffees, teas and beverages. Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Papua New Guinea. Ask the barista and he will guide you through the flavors and flavor profile of each reserve. You now serve each coffee in a different cup (see picture) and on a tray. I haven't been here in a couple of months so it's a nice new thing. Nice place albeit in a mall. Good place to hang. Especially when the woman is shopping and I just want to sit back and read my Phil Star. Haha.

Finally got to try cold brew! It's VERY GOOD. My only complaint is that there are no Starbucks Reserve branches near me huhu please offer cold brew in all branches pls. I just got there today and tried their strawberry and cream frap and it's delicious. I can taste the milk and starberry even though they have added too much milk, but they still taste delicious. I'm not picky about drinks although it depends on the price since my last visit to HK Starbucks. Be careful when using ingredients.
