Bidra med feedbackTom ordered the yum as an appetizer, which was a huge bowl with great taste and authentic flavors, enough for two people to share. I ordered it medium hot and it was very spicy. I would have stopped there, rating it a 9.5 out of 10. For the main dish, I had the seafood in chili with regular rice instead of jasmine rice. The seafood was ordered medium spicy but turned out mild. It tasted more like Chinese food than Thai, and was bland. I rated it a 3.5 out of 10. For dessert, I had the sticky rice and mango, which was a disappointment despite its beautiful presentation. The mango was tasteless and the rice was barely edible, rating it a 1.5 out of 10 (points mainly for presentation). The coffee I ordered was dirty and bitter, so I had to send it back. When I asked for hot tea, I was told they didn't have any, which was surprising for an Asian restaurant. I rated this experience a 0 out of 10. The server was new and had limited English skills, making communication difficult. Overall, the service was poor and disorganized, with mistakes in bringing condiments and the check. The food was brought out too quickly, with the soup and main dish arriving within 90 seconds of each other. I rated the overall experience a 1.0 out of 10. The atmosphere was nice while dining outside, rating it an 8.0 out of 10. Would I come back? Possibly for a midday soup, but definitely not for anything else.
I highly recommend trying their Tom Yum soup as it is a perfect blend of sweet, aromatic, sour, and spicy flavors that will surely help you relax and de-stress.
This was my second time dining at this restaurant. The first visit was just average, so we decided to give it another try for dinner. Unfortunately, it was a mistake. The Tom Yum soup did not taste anything like traditional Tom Yum soup, it was more like a bland broth with two frozen shrimp. The Tamarind pork dish was overly fatty and the sauce was served on the side. We mentioned our disappointment to the waitress, but it seemed like our feedback was ignored. The food had nothing to do with authentic Thai cuisine. The only positive aspect I can mention is that the prices were reasonable for the BGC area, given the low quality of the food.
My wife and I had lunch on Sunday. the menu is beautiful and short and full of Thai favorites. the restaurant is not very aesthetically appealing with regard to layout and decor, but was nice and clean and service was...smooth and friendly. I chose a red bark cure and we had a common tom yum starter. the food came out quite quickly and was presented beautifully. the tom yum was very delicious and beautiful and spicy with some very juicy garnels, we both really enjoyed it. the red curry was also very tasty and beautiful and spicy (the way I asked) the bark was quite tender and the sauce is probably not very authentic, it was perfect for my taste and I really enjoyed my meal. this restaurant was a really nice surprise for us and I don't think I had better Thai food here in manila. maybe not one for the Thai food purists, but still worth a visit. at a price of P1,500 for both of us with a starter, nice medium with rice etc., I thought it was very good value for money. I'm sure we'll be back here soon.
A great Thai place. Went for a walk this afternoon and found this place in BGC. Menu is a good variety of Thai dishes, reasonably priced too.
