Bidra med feedbackI have not had good experiences with Carousel Sushi in Manila in the past, so I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to Genki. It's a fun experience, especially for my nephews who love the shinkansen that brings the food to the table. The food itself is fresh and delicious, with my favorites being the Inari sushi and the salmon sashimi. They even offer fattier cuts of salmon which I appreciate. I have been to most of the branches in Manila and I can confidently say that the quality is consistently good. I highly recommend Genki.
The restaurant has a fun concept where sushi is delivered to your table on a conveyor belt 'train' and you can order from a screen. The prices are on the higher side, similar to typical western sushi prices. My family had a good time and while the sushi was not the best I have ever had, the unique ordering and delivery experience made it worth a visit.
Genki Sushi delish!Since we tried sushi bar in Japan, we have been in the look out for a restaurant that has similar style and I am happy to found one and that is Genki Sushi! It may not have revolving table/belt but it has sushi train. I like the concept and the quality of the food is awesome. Also, you should try the green tea. We will definitely go back. Always loved conveyor belt system of ordering sushi. The fatty salmon sashimi is a must-try! Totally recommend this place.
Unique concept of having meals . Using a conveyor belt to have food delivered specifically to your table. You choose from a small screen with matching illustration but with no description . Fun way to have Japanese meals . But not all knew these and some are having a hard time adjusting that servers are still needed. Particular reference are drinks . Having mischievous children creating noise and throwing plastic utensils and small plates doesn't help. Poor staff , they can't reprimand these ignorant parents because the customers are always right .
