The Peddler Steak House

Went there to celebrate our 33 anniversary. It was great,the chef and waitress did a great job.The atmosphere was outstanding. It was as amazing as we thought it would be. We will be back.

Not even close to a 5 or 4 star review. Had a small 50 minute wait. No problem, it 's to be expected on a Saturday night. What 's not to be expected is how dark and dingy the establishment is. Looked dirty and like it has never been cleaned properly. Service was decent at best and that 's being very fair. The food was chilly and not even close to being hot. Not even warm. The salad bar was filthy with food cross contaminated everywhere. Like it had been open all week with no one even considered cleaning it or the floor around it. For an upscale steak house, they are far from that. I 've had better food and service experiences at chain steakhouses. I will not even mention the overpriced food for the quality of it, as I went there expecting to come out of pocket a bit when I went there. Also drove an hour just to go there. Never again.

Best steak in Raleigh. Great service. Old school steakhouse . Meat great quality. Also love the side bar with the swinging doors. Can’t beat a dark steakhouse.

Doesn’t take reservations. Had to wait 1.5 hours. Salad bar is great. Like how you can decide how thick you can get your steak. Onion rings were good. Kind of dark inside though. Parking: Located in a strip mall so plenty of parking spaces

Small cozy older restaurant with a salad bar. The food was just “meh” I’ve definitely had better in the Raleigh area.
