Bidra med feedbackI love this place! The food is always amazing and the vibe is great. ? I deducted one star for atmosphere because the acoustics make it hard to hear when it’s busy, making it difficult for groups larger than 4 or for people with hearing difficulties.
We used to eat here a lot when we came downtown for performances. This was our first time back in several years. Boy, has the food gone downhill. My husband had pasta which was mostly tasteless, and calamari which was okay. I had melon and proscuito the melon was good but the proscuito tasted old. The Caprese salad required my knife to cut the tomatoes they were so hard and tasteless. We won't be back.
Really good authentic Italian food in a charming setting. Extensive Italian wine list at very affordable prices. We ordered a DOC Nebbiolo Langhe for $20 that was excellent. The penne with scallops and garlic sauce was delicious. The lasagne a bit over salted. Tiramisu was too wet but flavor was perfect. Service was excellent but so efficient we felt rushed. Courses came out before we had finished the one before. I realize most people wouldn't complain about fast service but Italy isn't like that and we wanted to enjoy the excellent wine and food.
The food is consistently delicious each and every time we dine here. We find their prices to be very reasonable for what we would consider a more upscale dining place. A personal favorite of mine on the menu is the lasagna. It's also worth mentioning that they have gluten free pasta available and a nice wine list as well.
Wonderful food and staff. Only thing I wish they had is high chairs. Going with little kids who eat super well but wiggle a lot, it was a lot of work keeping my little one restrained with one arm while eating and feeding with the other. I may not visit again with kids unless we find out they get high chairs : which is unfortunate because they loved the food.
