Walk On's Sports Bistreaux Gonzales

Solid four-star!! Buddy and I stopped in here while traveling through and grabbed dinner. Very good food! I had the blackened catfish etoufee which came with rice and fried catfish bites. It was incredible! Buddy had the pasta jambalaya and said it was killer good as well. Great service and lots of TVs!!

Food was so tasty and staff was very attentive to our table. I had the grown up grilled cheese and my husband had duck gumbo. Our friend had a po boy . Even our spinach and artichoke dip was delicious ????

Update: I emailed the email below provided but was given no response. This is all the alligator bites that was put on my to go order. I usually order them from another walk ons and it is always packed with a good quantity. These didn't taste as good. No spice and smaller. Won't be back. Staff was nice thats the 2 stars

I?ve been to Walk-Ons maybe 4 or 5 times and it?s a consistent and solid choice for a quick and casual meal. My recent visit was an early dinner with my niece. We were seated quickly and our server was the best. We started with the Waffle Cheese Fries. They were great! The serving size was big and both of us were almost full after eating them. I decided to choose something light for my entree and chose the Redfish Tacos. The redfish was cooked perfectly and the tacos were accompanied by a side a queso and chips. My niece had the Grown-Up Grilled Cheese and loved it! We?ll definitely return!

My boyfriend and I went here, we ordered Waffle Cheese Fries which came with bacon, cheese banana peppers, they were super good. The food was all so hot! My boyfriend didn?t enjoy the Tuscan chicken entree. The chicken was super dry, it comes with tomato salsa on top; but he asked for it on the side. The salsa was very very nasty. Would not compliment the chicken well. He also had Louisiana Street Corn, it was super watery, and tasted burnt. He loved the mashed potatoes, they were very tasteful. I ordered the sweet chili chicken; and waffle fries. I have no complaints, my meal was delicious. We would go here again, he?d just pick something different than the Tuscan Chicken entree. Our server was super sweet, super friendly. Towards the end she disappeared, but we eventually got our check and was able to leave.
