El Patio - Mesilla

Don’t ask for the GM of the establishment to complain because they have the doorman saying he’s him. Here the staff is ALWAYS right and won’t listen to concerns of patrons because “the bartenders are probably busy”. Service here has gone to waste. Definitely won’t be back!

Truly a great locals place that welcomes everyone. It ain't pretty ranks in the top 50 dive bars. However it go great prices and amazing people to meet

On September 15, 2023 at 6:30pm, my husband and I entered the bar for a drink and to unwind in Mesilla. However, upon arrival, an older Caucasian man and his friends gave us unwelcoming looks and attitude, making us feel like we didn't belong. Thankfully, some friendly people entering the bar invited us to join their group, but it was disappointing to experience such discrimination based on our skin color. Despite the nice atmosphere, we won't be returning to this bar.

This restaurant is the epitome of a classic dive bar. The history oozes from the walls, giving it a nostalgic feel. The burrito lady walking around with tasty burritos late at night was a highlight. I do wish they had a better selection of tequila, but overall, a great experience.

I have tried to visit this restaurant several times, as it claims to be open until 2AM, but it always closes around midnight or even earlier. It's disappointing.
