A Tasca do Zequinha - Mesao Frio

What a delightful place to eat. Very rustic and simple meals, but made with love and care. We tried the veal medallions and the hake fish. The portions were big and the food was so affordable. The owner served us as we were the only ones there. He let my husband try the local drink aguardente as well as a taste of local Port. It was so delicious. We felt like we were at home. If you get a chance to stop by, I'd highly recommend.

Great place! There were 8 of us, and they set us up our back. The service was on pave for the setting (so not fast, but attentive when we were interactive). Try the vino verdhe!

This was a lovely local hole in the wall meal with home cooked comforting food. We had the dish of the day roast chicken and potatoes with rice and veg and the roast salmon with roast potatoes. It was very tasty in a warm and local atmosphere! Very homey and comforting and VERY AFFORDABLE. We chatted with the owner and he brought us some of his house port to try.

Na indisponibilidade dos famosos medalhões de vitela foi-nos sugerido em alternativa carne de porco com castanhas, que acabou por ser fraco. Isto aliado a uma sala super quente, em pleno agosto, não resultou...Salvou-se o vinho.
