Matta's Mexican Grill - Mesa

Eating was great, service was great. I miss mattas. Yes, that's not the original, and I guess the matta hasn't got it anymore, but it was still great. I worked years ago in original when my 21-year-old was just a little and I couldn't wait to return to arizona to go to matta. I even ordered salsa and hot sauce online from mattas a few years for my family for christmas (yes they loved her Christmas gift! and I had it in a few days. I recommend this place! the plate with the burrito without sauce and tear and drilling is the meal of the child. it's huge. the girls share it and took eat after home.

Absolutely the worst Mexican Food I have had. UPDATE This place made my whole family sick! Food poisoning?DO NOT EAT HERE! We were looking forward to a new place to try and the food was gross. Better quality at TB. It?s no wonder they have you pay upfront because we all left our food at the table. Plus it was not worth the money. The place was not clean! Do not ever go here! Listen to the other negative reviews because I do not know who they are paying for the 5 star ones!

Matta 's used to be a great place to take the family for a delicious Mexican food meal. Now, it 's a great place to take a wealthy family for a mediocre Mexican food meal. We used to take our family of six there every month or two. Now, I 'd say that because of the prices, they fall into the special occasion rotation.

This was my aunties fav so after her funeral we had lunch . Miss the original mattas though.

This was my first time here. I am visiting family from Georgia. Everything we ordered was fantastic as was the service. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in town.
