Hooters - Merrillville

Ordered food online with an order pick up time of 8:22 pm. My boyfriend went to pick up the food at 8:15pm . By 9pm The FOOD WAS STILL NOT READY FOR PICK UP!! Finally we Get the food the dressing is wasted all over the to go containers , the tater tots taste like grease the food was warm at best !!! The past two times coming here it’s always the same thing. SLOW SERVICE!!!

We waited nearly an hour and a half for our food, and once it came out, the fries and chicken tasted and smelled like ash. Our waitress was working on the other side of the restaurant and rarely had time to check up on us. She did her best to keep water/drinks filled, but I'm not sure why she was given our table. After we explained to her that our food tasted and smelled like ash, she said she knew exactly the smell we were referring to and immediately comped the fries seems like this may be a common complaint. Unfortunately, the only good thing about this visit was my canned beer... and that took 20 minutes to come out. This was my first and last time eating here.

Last time I'll ever go here, food smelled and tasted like cigarettes; wish someone could explain that one to me. Spent over 2 hours here, saw the server about 5 times. This was without a doubt the worst dining experience I've ever had. You need to do better.

Came in around 8:00 pm, didn't leave until 10:45. Had to wait until 9:45 until our food came, and it was a few burgers but mostly wings and tenders. The tenders were little and not worth the price and the fries that came with all tasted like someone was smoking a cigarette and cooking the food. The waitress was great, but she had tables on the other side of the restaurant so she wasn't around that much. This was the worst experience I have had at Hooters, and it left a bad taste in my mouth, no pun intended.

Good burger,cold beer, good specials, good service will return
