Bidra med feedbackGreat authentic Bosnian food, great service, very nice and clean restaurant! I disagree with the reviews that talk about this place lacking atmosphere... tasteful, minimal décor, lite Bosnian music, very clean restaurant and impeccable bathroom that offers lotion for customers( who doesn't love that in this dry climate? create a nice family setting. Be aware, food takes time to get to you here as it's fresh, made to order and it's simply part of Bosnian culture, like most of Europe's, to slowly enjoy yr meal and not be constantly bombarded with wait staff. Being a Bosnian, I'm happy to have this place to go to in-between monthly trips to my mom's kitchen. Enjoy!
Sofra is a hidden treasure in Meridian. I went in without facing tried Bosnian good before and now I’m a regular at least every other week. I’ve never had a bad meal. So delicious!
Excellent food and atmosphere! Small portion of cevapi was plenty and the lepina was amazing! A breath of fresh air for the Boise area and much needed Bosnian eatery.
We popped in here for date night with some friends and were shocked by the deliciousness of the food!!! The cheese pastry was so good I have been thinking about it nonstop! The bread is absolutely divine. The menu is simple but every single thing we ordered was so good. Our server was cheerful and happy to answer all of our questions and at the end of our meal the owner Came out to welcome us and see how our experience was! Definitely happy this is located right by my house- I can't wait to go back!
I've never had Bosnian food before so wasn't quite sure what to expect. I had the cheese pie which looks sort of like a danish pastry but it is savory with a flaky crust and delicious. My husband had the stuffed cabbage which he loved. There wasn't a speck left on his plate. The staff are very friendly. The decor is minimal but the food is so good it teally doesn't matter.
