Wow! 2 Burgers and Pommes by KJ. The same price as car thru- but taste, size and value are over the top! Excellent!

This wonderful highway side restaurant offers classic roadside fare. Upon entering, there is a big buffet table behind the hostess counter. It looked fresh and inviting. I wasn't feeling well, so I order chicken noodle soup. It was rich and full of noodles and chicken. I'd order it again. My mother ordered the All American Burger. It was done to a perfect medium, still pink in the middle. She said it was very good, but way too big. : My other half order the chicken strip basket and mentioned the chicken was very juicy. The fries were nice. The price was less than I had expected. We will go again when in the area.

Love the Salad Bar. Today had split pea soup that was spectacular. I topped it with Tortilla strips and chunks of ham from salad bar. Then I had chili cheese nachos delicious. Of course you have to have the fresh fruit watermelon and cantaloupe. My grandson had a bar b q bacon cheese burger. He said it was really really good. This is a must do. They have daily and weekly specials. Most of all you have got to check out the homemade pies an cookies and of course cinnamon rolls

Food was very good! Boyfriend and I had purchased the philly dip sandwich as well as the cranberry chicken sandwich no complaints about those whatsoever! When it came to the french fries served with the sandwiches they didn’t really have much flavor and were kinda hard to get down without drenching them in ketchup. The server assigned to our table was consistent and kept checking in making sure our drinks were refilled and the food was tasting good. As for the lady at the cashier she was rude and honestly didn’t make us feel very welcomed she was quiet and looked like she does not enjoy her job, seeing as the cashier is the last person we see leaving the establishment I believe it is important for them to be attentive and happy.

Nice family restaurant with friendly staff. The service was quick and the food was tasty. The salad/soup/dessert bar was a good value to add on to a meal for just $4. The baked goods (especially the cinnamon rolls and brownies) are great!
