Kanak Attack Katering - Meridian

This was my first post a few weeks ago: Kanak Attack has been stopping by the office on a weekly basis and I think I'm about done. The flavor is there but, they're always out of something. Usually it's fries, one time it was salt for their fries, today they were out of chicken which is my go-to. The pork is a little too greasy so I decided to try the trip tip. When I got it, it was mostly fat! The pile of fat I pulled off the trip tip compared to the bowl, is a lot. I couldn't even cut it. I tired pulling it apart and the fork broke it was so tough. I like the flavor, which keeps me coming back (hence the empty $8 bowl). The only thing that is consistently good is the coconut rice and most of the time, the macaroni salad. Kanak...step your game up! Today 5/25/16: I got wind Kanak made some changes. I saw someone in the office with a burrito and decided to see give them yet another shot. Kanak, this is the reason I fell in love with you! Amazing flavor!!! I got the chicken and rice burrito.... Omg! The flavor!! I literally can not go on anymore about the flavor! On top of that, the burrito was well put together and not sloppy at all which was a huge plus! The veggies were well cooked and that coconut rice was still amazing! Keep this up and you'll have yourself a very loyal customer! One thing that I did not mention last time, that still holds true. The customer service! You know who you are. You're always so welcoming, patient, friendly and fast! You kept me coming back even when I wasn't sure.

So happy to have this restaurant open in Meridian! We loved them when the first opened on Broadway in Boise and have since followed the food truck to favorite events and were more than excited when someone used them for catering and we were lucky enough to have been invited. Just stopped by for a late lunch bite and I was not disappointed. There is even enough for tomorrow’s lunch (or maybe breakfast! Mahalo Kanak Attack!

Best Hawaiian food in Idaho! Only Hawaiian BBQ restaurant I've seen anywhere (including Hawaii) where you can choose different rice dishes and side dishes with your meal. Ono grinds Mike and crew! Have recommended Kanak Attack to all my friends! Only problem I have with the place is that it's way too close to my house!!! Goodbye diet!!

This is by far the best food truck that I have had they are professional and make amazing food, decent prices and large portion sizes.

Was craving Hawaiian food and found this gem. It was very delicious! Tasted like we were back in Hawaii. Highly recommend it!
