El Norte Mexican - Meridian

The restaurant itself seemed very clean, the staff was friendly and attentive. The free chips and salsa were good, although it was not the best salsa I had, but each chain makes them different. This salsa seemed to be cooked or heated at one point. I prefer a fresh salsa that was not heated. This is my reason for 4 stars. The Nacho Nortenos were excellent, I chose beef and chicken on them and added fried beans. You didn't disappoint. Sweet tea was excellent. You would be surprised to see how many restaurants in the south you disappoint with watered sweet tea, or not enough sugar in it. This was my first visit here and if I'm ever back in the area, I would definitely go back here. Update stayed here 2 times more since the previous review and I wouldn't change anything about what I said above.

When we first traveled through Meridian. Great food.

After a less than stellar recommendation of our hotel we were hesitant. I'm glad we came, it was SO GOOD! Cheese Dip and Salsa Verde were delicious!!! Yummy Margarita. Great Chimichanga and good Queen. Chips are also great! Good service, fast and good prices. If we were here, we'd be back!

All we ordered was fantastic. We'll go back there. Service was also great.
