Bidra med feedbackBeautiful restaurant in the americana with yucatan specialties. I came back twice to enjoy the sopa de lima, a wonderful suppe with huh in a tasteful broth. good service in pleasant atmosphere.
We have made more by the believer than by the decision. Actually, there was no other place to dinate this late on Friday (10 o'clock). the place is cozy with different trees surrounding the restaurant. we ordered a sashimi, suppe and salmon and each plate came in. more delicious that their ancestors. the ambiente was gentle and cozy. live romantic music accompanied our dinner. the waitresses are amiable and corteous and the review is not excessive at all (600 pesos or ~35usd). Look at it!
This restaurant is located in the hotel holiday inn on the front. the service is great and eating is delicious. there is no great selection of food, but the menu is good. I recommend the sopa de lima .what is tasty, also, we tried the panuchos; roasted tortilla filled with black beans with crushed truthahn. they have a bar with great choice of likör, wein and beer. enjoy it!
The restaurant is located under the trees on the terrace, therefore the name arboleda. that makes a pleasant ambiente, at least in the evening when it has cooled some. we had the buffet, but we really only used some dishes. so the server only charged us for salads because we have eaten so easily. eating was good, but nothing spectacular. the prices were high but not surprising for this location.
Due to rain earlier in the day, the buffet was relocated inside the Holiday Inn the night we went. We were the first arrivals at about 7:30, and the room was filled with the smoke of something burning. The service was questionable, but the guy...working the grill was very friendly. The food was pretty awful, including everything on the grill. The two fish choices were shipped from other continents despite Merida being 20 miles from a fishing city. The beef tasted off. Sides looked old and cold, although we were the first people there. The salad was good, as was the chicken soup. The desserts were inedible other that the chocolate covered strawberries. There are many excellent choices in Merida but this is not one of them. It's also expensive for the area.
