Bidra med feedbackThis is basic Motel 6 type lodging and survives because there are limited lodging choices in the area of Purdue University. This hotel, or more appropriately, motel, does not meet Marriott customer expectations or standards. It's in complete disrepair and appears to be disserted with landscaping undone, giving an appearance of real safety concerns. Upon check in, the front desk personnel were helpful and were ready for my arrival. Then things just got worse...I could not gain entry to the room even though the key card worked, but the safety lock from within must have been latched. The front desk advised that I return to the room and Push Up while trying to open it, as this is a known issue. I just asked for a replacement room which was the last one available. This room was plagued with problems as two of the light fixtures with power points were bad, making charging anything beyond two items impossible. The room lacked shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The only amenities were a very small bar of soap. The Pros Across the street from the Walmart and near some shopping Could use 22.5K points to book a single night The bed was very comfortable The Cons Old outdated furniture Plugs did not work Property cascades a feeling of being unsafe and not maintained No breakfast No food service Bathroom appeared to be dirty, with the metal fixtures showing rust TV did not have broadcast channels: NBC, ABC, CBS, just cable upon check out never received an email/receipt, although it was paid with points. As a Marriott Titanium Platinum and ultra loyal to the brand, I Recommend even Marriott members avoid this property and consider an alternative hotel brand even if you don't have status.
Marriott needs to pull the franchise tag. We circled the parking lot laughing before walking in. We went inside and nobody at the front desk. We thought zombies might come out from the corners. Dirty, moldy, disgusting. The reviewer that said knew high weeds… the weeds are now over my head. No restaurants or kitchen open (per the gross signs). When I told the front desk worker (after she arrived while we were on the phone with Marriott) we weren’t staying, she kindly nodded and understood. This must be a management that’s waiting for some foreclosure or something to justify scraping and selling the property. It’s a great location. They would do better to rent out spots in the parking lot for football games. It’s cleaner outside among the weeds. Still laughing at how ridiculous this place is. I only wish o could write the review on Marriott- but I would have to stay there. Honestly, I’m not sure if I would stay there if they paid me $500/night.
This is the most disgusting hotel I’ve EVER stepped my feet in!!!!!! I’m traveling from out of town ALONE for work Then i get here after driving 11hrs all i wanted was to shower and lay down!!!!!! My first room was on the 3rd floor no air then they switched me to another that had clogged drains so the tub ended up overflowing! The last room was small and shower was dirty!!!!!! Everything is old and outdated and UNDER CONSTRUCTION !!! I paid in full for the first week however everyday after i paid they were trying to charge my account every day! I spoke a few staff members including the MANAGER. Which i was reassured that no other charges would hit my account. The second week i spoke with the manager AGAIN due to the SAME issue she said that the system randomly pick rooms to do an authorization hold! Mind you when i spoke with her it was on Sat 7/22/2023 and at this time I had just paid for another week. By wed 7/26/2023 469.11 was put on hold. When i spoke with the manager about the SAME ISSUE AGAIN she was being all nasty and smart as if my money being taken wasn’t her concern! I left on 7/28/2023 and I have yet to receive my 469.11 the two $25 incidental fees that I was charged.
First of all, I sat in the car wondering if I should go inside. The parking lot and gardens are full of knee high weeds. Inside I was greeted with with dated, shabby decor, stained couches, and a leaking moldy hallway that was poorly covered up by a hanging curtain and a table. The room was okay, but upon close inspection the corners are grimy and outlets are smudgy. Do not stay here. It’s not worth the $150 a night they charge. I’m with a previous reviewer… Marriott should be ashamed.
I’ve stayed over 300 nights with Marriott. This is the worst condition property I’ve seen. The place is a dump, it’s dirty, things are broken throughout the room, the linens were soiled, it’s loud, the AC is obnoxious, the beds are small, and the restaurant is closed. I don’t know how this place is associated with Marriott.
