Quaker Steak Lube - Mentor

I haven't been to this place for a few years. This is because I moved out of this area and had nothing to do with the restaurant itself. Both food and service for the good. I'm going past Tuesday and on Tuesday they have excellent food specialties. They have special steak, bone-in wings and boneless wings that a leg for only $10 just to name a few. You also have an alcohol happy hour. If you haven't been to a Quaker Steak Lube in a while, you might be surprised.

It's just okay. Some items a little on the pricey side. Almost $10.00 for an order of Onion Rings? Seriously? I don't like to be taken advantage of like that. Food was good, not exceptional, wait staff was attentive and courteous. Seating was plentiful and no waiting.

Docked a star as no handicap entrance. TGIFridays for. Motorheads. Cool decorations. All our meals were excellent even though they took awhile to arrive especially as slow as it was. Good selection of wing rib flavors. 2 bars with tv's good for watching sports. Atomic wing challenge. Our waitress Laura was 1 of the best I've ever had.

Our server was great, super friendly, and comedic. The food was pretty average, nothing too monumental. They were pet friendly on their patio which was great because we were traveling.

The food was AWESOME!!! We had the 4-wheeler, mango habanero shrimp tacos, and my husband did the atomic wing challenge. Everything was loaded with flavor. I absolutely enjoyed my first trip to Quaker Steak and can't wait to return! Updated to add that I recently tried the Kentucky bourbon wings and they are AMAZING!
