Le Mayfair - Menton

In a small yard facing the Jardin Bioves this little restaurant with a terrass enjoys mid day sun which guarantees a summer feeling during the so called winter in Menton. We had the menue which presented many but not so interesting choices. We settled for the burger, excellent, the panfried chicken, ok but not more and the sallad, not good at all. Service was friendly slow and not particularly interested. Our dessert choice was applepie, very nice. Coffee was good. Price, EUR 15. My advice to the chef: reduce the number of dishes and increase quality, then this place will be more than worth while. The interior is modern and neat, toilets better than many.

My friends and I have just visited for lunch. The staff were friendly and the food was very nice at reasonable prices. It has recently been renovated and we definitely visit again.

Discreet and welcoming place, friendly and helpful owner, excellent value for money, we will certainly return very willingly.
