Bar du Cap - Menton

Has to be our most favourit place to sit in Menton fo lunch, a glass of wine, a cup of coffee... we have serious withdrawal symptoms not being able to spend our leisure hourss in our favourite resort on the planet.... we missed the Bar duu Cap in 2020... rwo visits were planned from the UK.. both had to be cancelled... will we ever visit our little bit of heaven every again... we missed the Bar de Cap this years.. Covid took over, will we ever manage to ssit their again, drink in the atmosphere and enjoy the attenion of the first class waiter... happy Xmas to you all, lets hope the New Year 2021 will be better for all we need the Vaccine to see us through. our love affair with Menton CHIN has lasted almost 40yrs best wishes to all keep safe.

Had the classic French dishes, mussels, steak frites and did the job, No frills place but good position right in the main square.

Good location. Great waiter. Nice lunch on Sunday but unfortunately closed for dinner Monday. Will be back

Had dinner with the family at this resto. Don’t let the crowds scare you , there’s always a tablé available. Drinks arrived in a timely manner. Food arrived minutes later . Homemade cheese burger. I would give it a 6. Meat had no flavor at all. Bread crumbled upon holding the burger. Fries were excellent! Wife had the moulés! Excellent choice. Tasty and well served. Son had the junior brochetta. Well garnished and tasty. Bill was 55€ wine included. I put a Value at 30€ I would come back but only for drinks Waiter was on top of things!!

Stopped off for a drink in the afternoon then returned later that day for another. The service in this place is delivered by the friendliest girls with a big smile. The fries are to die for but the croque monsieur was missing bechamel, only had grilled cheese as a topping. great for people watching in the square near the port.
