Bidra med feedbackWe walked in after a day of exploration and were pleasantly surprised. the restaurant is located in the middle of a gaggle of restaurants and was by far the busiest on a Tuesday night. we had both steak, medium was on the well made side, but meat was very well prepared. the chef came out occasionally to see how the guests did. kellner spoke excellent English and recommended a few items that proved very delicious. great local atmosphere and good food!
Holy evening in mendoza, argentina, which itself announces international capital of vino, it is of course my birthday, so we selected a special restaurant after the demanding trip advisor research. we strolled up the road, through independence plaza, past the park hyatt and into the fine. esgebiet der city. Unfortunately, our chosen location, despite every day open website, was tightly closed. we were pushing on the restaurants that overlook us, all locked in or closed. we found some open or more accurate to open the normal opening time at 10 o'clock. it was only 8 o'clock and a (restaurant tristan barraza) invited us to take a place while preparing for their Christmas evening special price menu we accepted their offer and were soon accompanied by other tourist. we have noted that English was spoken at each table and that this was not good augur. the courses begin to come staccato fashion and need some workout: we had: a basket of stale white broth rolls and brezel in plastic with a single piece fast melting butter that we had from our waiter, the only English speaker was much more busy than his indolen mates entree he had: lomito ahumado con anana two micro thin slices covered by I had: brochette de marisco con salsa tartara a spits with a generous serving of meeres fruit extender, pickled cauliflower, raw wobbles and something that have calamari or pickled veterinarians aged and tinted taiwanese mosquitoes, with a tub of winery I had: pollo relleno con salsa del almendras y papas strikingly similar meal, this time with huh replaces the meat and the sauce another color, but interestingly do not taste through a sprinkle of underworms mangle. this time, however, we had 5 mccains keile that deserts the fast-thawing kartoffel cake, we both have the earthy and the saw and the chocolate mousse avoided and instead chosen: this is a problem. well described as a warm tartuffo minus the cherry. Unfortunately, as it was served on a flat plate, it was difficult to finish before it flows over the edges turron: nougat (2grams) garrapinadas: roasted peanuts(7) pandulce: crooked muffin drinks either red or white were served from the same phased weinkellerei and all the time came in we knew that they were native because they all wore the same T-shirts, spoke Spanish very loud and set up in a huge double-decker party bus. we thought that holy night was a strange night for a cucks party. this awakened the time of the evening, so they admire the mut of our neighbours who leave before the net, we took our vacation and left no tipp and fell in the hyatt for a cocktail and for the Christmas dinner of tomorrow, irrespective of the price. Meanwhile the taxis were short, so we went through dark roads and increasing number of loitering youths that seemed to be seeking. but we managed to get home in time for another drink and the midnight fireworks. the next day of course was the Christmas day, so we have torn down to the hyatt and spent the whole afternoon with eating our special Christmas dinner with everything, enjoying fine wine and chandon champagne, they can stuff (Christmas) imagine our surprise before the wipe to find that the price was exactly the same as last one! this time we left a tipp.
This restaurant was very mediocre. Steaks/Parilla was okay, nothing great. service was slow, atmosphere not so good. I would not recommend this place.
We made the mistake of going to dinner at 6 p.m., when people in S.A. eat at 9 or 10 p.m. The restaurant was hardly open, and we were the only patrons. It became obvious that they were simply trying to be welcoming to us,...even thought we had chosen a time when they were not ready. The mealsw were slow to be prepared, for obvious reasons, and generally they were too busy getting ready for a their late evening crowd. The wines were phenomenal, and expensive.
Great great service (we had the most charming waiter! and even better food! The meat was delicious and so were the side dishes, also the wine menu was quite impressive. We would definitely go there again.
