Restaurant Tommaso Trattoria - Mendoza

Although the waiter was very nice, food is terrible. Over cooked gnocchi and a frozen-like pizza. Don´t go there!!!

Even before we sat down we were a bit skeptical, as both waiters only focused on whatts app on their phones, and almost didn't have time to show us to a table. This was going on all night, not for manny seconds did they lay down their phones. The salad was ok and fresh. The pasta, overcooked and maybe a couple of days over due. The chicken was dry and not really worth eating. We also ordered one of the more expensive wines. The miserable waiter didn't even let us try the wine first, but just poored it like it was nothing. a completely incompetent restaurant with absolutely no sense of service at all. Do not go there.

I only ordered the pizza so the rest of the menu might be wonderful. The pizza lacked flavor and the strangest mozzarella I have ever seen and tasted. The wait staff was excellent though and it is priced right

This restaurant seems to be trying hard, but they just missed the mark. We stopped in one evening looking for some salad, a pizza and a bottle of wine. There was hardly anyone else there, but it took a while for the food. The salads were small and mostly lettuce. The "balsamic vinegar" was clearly watered down (we noticed this at several restaurants in Argentina, though). The pizza had too much cheese, not enough sauce, and not much flavor. The wine was ok. All of the other restaurants on the street were busier than this one, so we should have known. It's too bad because our waiter couldn't have been nicer.

We went there late afternoon and when we arrived and sat outside, we were the only ones there. The tables had little show cases of beans and pasta enclosed in glass cases built into the table top. Nice idea, but the items inside had evidence of storage pest infestation. Time to change to display items. The outside seating was nothing special but adequate. The staff were very helpful and really nice guys, so I feel very bad for them. I am glad to see that they have some good reviews because they were really friendly and I hope they are in business successfully for a long time. Looks like those who enjoyed the visit had pasta or steak. We had pizza. Remember that box pizza from back in the 60's. Well, their pizza was worse than that. The pizza dough was hard, with little sauce that did not soak into the dough and the cheese slid off the top if you tried to pick a slice up. Forget about folding this pizza. Stiff as a board. I am going to come back to this page and hopefully see that they read this and got a good pizza chef and see reviews for their pizza that are in the 4 and 5 range.Sorry guys. I wish I ordered pasta or a steak.
