The Red Clover Inn - Mendon

Love the Red Clover Inn. Sweet, relaxed and friendly. I've officiate several weddings here. All the couples I worked with had a great experience at this venue.

My wife and I just stayed here for our 1 year anniversary, in the heart of the green mountains. very peaceful, great scenery and the price was reasonable. very home like feeling here. The food at the restaurant on site was incredible, and complimentary breakfast was very good.

Peaceful ambiance and delicious food. Excellent wine list, entrees limited but excellently prepared, and yummy desserts. Location on a back road looking over a tranquil pond and green fields.

We stayed the night and were able to make reservations for dinner when we checked in. For dinner, we tried the shrimp and scallop fettuccine as well as the duck and quail entree. The duck and quail were the winner of the two entrees. It was perfectly cooked and portioned. The cranberry chutney on top was also a nice accompaniment. Their specialty cocktail menu was also impressive and they had a few VT craft brews on tap. For dessert, we tried the berry crisp, which was served warm and topped with ice cream. It was so flavorful! We loved it. The food, service and atmosphere were fantastic. Since we stayed the night, we had breakfast at the Inn in the morning. Our choices were a kale and Parmesan omelet or blueberry pancakes, both which came with bacon or sausage. We both had the blueberry pancakes, which were perfectly cooked and filled with fresh blueberries. It was the perfect ending to an amazing weekend! We can't wait to go back.

Staff was wonderful and always helpful. Very clean and well kept. Great food. Little extras like an extra bathroom in hall, snacks, coffee and good suggestions for local tourist activities. A memorable experience and we hope to return.
