Bidra med feedbackI come here now and again, I had to make a trip advisor account just for this. Warm welcome by bar staff. Food has gone down hill in my opinion I would say in the last year or so Long wait we waited 35 mins...but there was hardly anyone else in as we arrived at 12 on a Wednesday Smaller portions My wife’s fish was a lot bigger than mine? It was supposed to be the same Seems like it’s a bit disjointed and unorganised Menu prices for what they are seem a little too much We had about 7 chips each that’s not a portion for £15 As for the crumble don’t get me started. A tiny jug of custard with about a teaspoon amount in! All in all probably won’t go back for a while.
Was originally aiming to meet at another pub in the area but they had not put on their website they were closed! Called the Natterjack to see if they could fit us in and they could! Friendly welcome with a good choice of ale on...draught. Menu was nicely varied with some pub classics and some more unusual dishes. Service was good and food was very tasty.
We arrived about 14:15 so late for a full lunch, however, we were after just something to keep us going. We were pleased that they would serve us and we could have soup, which was beetroot tomato and was delicious. Very helpful staff, besides...serving us some lovely pints of Butcombe two teas were willingly provided. Lovely traditional pub and hope it gets the support it deserves, not on our doorstep but hoping to return for a full meal soon.
Literally just visited for Sunday dinner and a fillet steak for my partner. It was absolutely delicious. Best Sunday dinner I’ve had out. Service was brilliant, great atmosphere and very clean throughout As a licensee myself, everything is perfect.
