Sob Downtown - Memphis

Food was decent, drinks were great but prices are a little high and service was slow. I visited during a holiday, and it sounded like some employees called in or decided not to show up. Even with the less than ideal service, the staff that were there were super accommodating and friendly. On my own dime I would go elsewhere and save some coin, but if on business it’s worth it.

Delicious food all around! A must try when in Memphis.

Seth is SO friendly and nice everyone on staff was actually! They have wonderful gluten free options as well since I am celiac and have to. All gluten free options are marked clearly and the staff is knowledgeable about gluten free which is STELLAR. Absolutely will be coming back. We got the general tsos cauliflower, grilled pineapple steak and the enchilada bowl. All amazing and ALL GLUTEN FREE! It is a miracle when I find stuff locally that is gluten free and they knocked the food out of the park.

Last minute decision to have a birthday party for my father with a rather large group. Several other restaurants turned us down, but SOB jumped to help us out getting us a private room reserved. Separate checks? No problem! Full menu for 15 people? No problem! Hugo was our server and he made sure everyone understood the entire menu, accommodated our group (one seafood allergy, one gluten-free, one vegetarian). The whole experience was great and incredibly memorable!
