Little Italy Downtown - Memphis

Delicious calzones and cool guys running the place. I recommend it.

We ordered a pizza and salad to go since we are staying in a hotel. When we arrived back at the hotel I discovered that there were no utensils with which to eat my salad. When I called back they said well did you ask for utensils? It seems to me that if you are placing a to go order they would automatically be included. Not everyone is taking it home to eat. We were in Memphis for the weekend and I can hardly wait to leave. I will NEVER come back.

This place has gone to hell. Used to have the best pizza on memphis. Was just served a slice for $4.50 that was burned to the point that their plastic knife wouldn’t cut it.Don’t waste your time with the Union Ave location. Port boy should visit this location, he’d give it a 1.5!

Little Italy Downtown is the go to pizza place in Memphis for me. The test is whether a plain cheese pizza is good, and Little Italy's plain has the perfect flavor and cheesiness which reminds me of New York pizza. Pizzas with toppings are excellent as well. Little Italy Downtown isn't great for dining in there aren't a lot of tables, it's best if lunch or a quick dinner. Still, a slice of pizza and a can of soda are only about $8, it's the best lunch you can get at that price.
