Corky's Ribs Bbq - Memphis

Food was OK on average...ribs were really good. Chicken was good. Pulled pork was dry but tasty. The brisket is a joke! 3 tiny slices of beef that seemed to have been steamed with liquid smoke rather than done in a smoker. I expect more and better for $15.99! Sides were fine. I would add another star, but it took 15 minutes after being seated to get any acknowledgement from a server and we had to ask for a server, just to get one to come to the table. In a town known for BBQ, this place is bottom of the barrel.

The service at this restaurant is excellent, and the staff is fantastic! Thank you for everything!! In terms of rating, the reviewer believes that marketing has skewed people's perception to think that anything less than 5 stars is not good. They define a 5-star rating as the best possible product, a 4-star rating as an exceptional combination of value, quality, and functionality, a 3-star rating as a product that performs as expected without any major flaws, a 2-star rating as a product that falls short of expectations in terms of price, quality, and functionality but can be made to work with some effort, and a 1-star rating as a product that is garbage and fails to deliver its intended function without compromising unacceptable compromises on your end.

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with BBQ chicken nachos, while my husband got the brisket with baked beans and a supposed side of green beans, but the waitress brought fries instead. Unfortunately, my meal was bland and not satisfying. The waitress was not very welcoming and we had to gesture to get her to bring us drink refills. Overall, I hate to leave negative feedback but I cannot recommend this place. Sorry.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. However, I'm not sure if it can compare to the barbecue in my hometown of Kansas City. The sauce was amazing, and I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant if you are in town.

We ran into this place wanting to try what Memphis had to offer with ribs. The flavor was good but the sides are really small for what you pay for a rack of ribs. They use the St. Louis style spare ribs. Overall it was good.
